Rep. Carlos "Charlie" Cojuangco of Tarlac's 1st District died on Tuesday, according to his wife China.


"It is with a heavy heart that we regret to inform you that Carlos 'Charlie' Cojuangco, my husband, Claudia, and Jaime's father, has died away," China Jocson wrote on Facebook.

Details about the wake will be announced soon, according to Jocson.

Cojuangco formerly served as a congressman of Negros Occidental's 4th district before being elected to Tarlac's first district.

He was also the chair of the House committee on flagship programs and projects, as well as the vice chair of the appropriations committee.

Eduardo Cojuangco Jr., a former Tarlac governor and 1st district representative, is charlie Cojuangco father who passed away last june 2020.

Beautiful story.

My wife was sleeping next to me. And all of a sudden I got a Facebook notification, a woman asked me to add her. So I added her. I accepted the friend request and sent a message asking, "Do we know each other?"

She replied: "I heard you got married but I still love you."

She was a friend from the past. She looked very beautiful in the picture. I closed the chat and looked at my wife, she was sleeping soundly after her exhausting day of work.  

Looking at her, I was thinking about how she feels so safe that she can sleep so comfortably in a completely new home with me.

She is far from her parents' house, where she spent 24 hours surrounded by her family. When she was upset or sad, her mother was there so she could cry in her lap. Her sister or brother would tell jokes and make her laugh. Her father would come home and bring her everything she liked. And still, she placed so much trust in me.

All these thoughts came to mind, so I picked up the phone and pressed "BLOCK".

I turned to her and slept next to her. 

I am a man, not a child. I have sworn to be faithful to her and so it will be. I will fight forever to be a man who doesn't cheat on his wife and tear a family apart....

You don't have to give up your favorite game-day snack entirely, either. You may make your own sauces with little effort and they can also be healthful. How? When making your dip, use real cheese and add some herbs for added taste. You could always add fresh herbs from your garden to make it more healthier.


4. Margarine

Margarine has recently been under fire, and rightfully so. It resembles butter and, in some situations, even tastes like butter, but it is not the same. Margarine is a man-made lubricant that contains artery-clogging saturated fats as well as a lot of processed oils. It's not good for your cholesterol levels. We're all guilty of buying food that appears appealing, regardless of the potential harm it may cause to our bodies. There are, however, healthier options available. Vitamin-rich foods such as beet juice and cold-pressed green juices will give you with all you need.

8. Sugary cocktails

For the aging guy, here's a doubleheader. Due to some major partying, a few have to fill in the blanks from their college days. Happy hour was invented as a way to see how much you could drink in an hour's time. Sure, you felt like a train wreck the next day, but your body had healed and you were ready for more before the sun set on another day.
